I would definitely recommend the Sixt (San Antonio airport location) to anyone traveling. My family and I was in town for my son’s BMT graduation on Jan. 19th. Before leaving Alabama, I reserved a rental through Priceline. The company they selected for me was Fox, whom I’d never heard of. I clearly asked the rep if I could pay with my debit card upon arrival and she said yes. Upon our flight landing, and approaching the rental counter, I was informed I could only pay using the credit card, in which I used to make the reservation. I explained to the rep what I was told over the phone and she responded, she don’t know why they keep telling customers that. So, we were faced with the possibility of 7 of us being without transportation during our stay in San Antonio. She saw the disgusted look on my face, and then proceeded to tell me that I could use my debit card at the Sixt location, which was to the left of them. I approached the counter, explained my situation, and the two gentleman were very understanding and apologetic. Fortunately, Sixt did have a 7 passenger van available for rent. As a matter of fact, it was the same Chrysler Pacifica, I’d reserved with Fox. He made a call, had the van cleaned, and we were on our way. I didn’t get their names; but they were the two young men working on Jan. 17th around 11am. They was a life saver and from now own, we will only use Sixt, whenever we’re in San Antonio!
