How long from the date my driver’s license was issued can I rent with SIXT? 

There is no minimum period that the driver's license should be held for to rent with SIXT in the United States. All drivers (including any additional drivers) must be in possession of a “valid” driver’s license.

Can I rent with a temporary license? 

Temporary licenses are accepted if they are accompanied by the original expired or voided driver's license. We do not accept photocopies of any driver's licenses.

How old do you have to be to rent a car in the US?

From the age of 21 or over, you can rent a car with SIXT. You just need to have a valid driving license and payment method. In the state of New York, you can rent a car with SIXT from the age of 18. Unlike other car rental companies, there is no minimal length of time that you must have held your driving license for.
