It was close to Christmas and most rental companies were out of cars, some even overbooked cars, but sixt had rentals available. I called to confirm that they were not overbooked and they said if I reserved a vehicle I would definitely get a vehicle. I had put my information into the system prior to arrival, but their internet and subsequently their system was down so they had to re-write my information on a paper contract. None the less, this was done very quickly. I had reserved a standard vehicle-Jetta or Corolla, but I was upgraded to a Mercedes. Not only that, but the car had about 330 miles on it. It was essentially brand new. It had Bluetooth enabled, so I was able to link up my phone for navigation and music. The seats were leather and there was an added back support feature in the seat, so I was able to adjust it for my hyperlordosis. I drove it about 1000 miles for the holidays to visit NorCal and the car drove wonderfully.
Overall, I wonderful experience with Sixt and will definitely rent from this company again. Their employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their customer service on the telephone and in person was impeccable. Their cars are great. Their rental system was quick and easy and the drop off was even faster. They look at the car ask if you’ve filled the tank, you hand them the keys and that’s it. You get the final receipt in an email. Thank you Sixt!!! You made the holidays a little less stressful this year.
