Take CA-1 N and turn left onto W Century Blvd toward I-405, CA-1 N. Turn slight right onto CA-1 N and keep left on Lincoln Blvd. Turn left onto Pico Blvd. and right onto Ocean Ave.

From Beverly Hills

Take the Santa Monica Fwy and take exit 1A onto 4th St./5th St. Turn right onto 4th St. and left onto Colorado Ave. Turn right onto Ocean Ave. Our Sixt branch in is on the right inside the Shore Hotel.



From Los Angeles

Take the Ca-110 and take exit 21 onto I-10 towards Santa Monica. Take exit 1A onto 4th St./5th St. and turn right onto 4th St. Turn left onto Colorado Ave. and turn right onto Ocean Ave. Our Sixt branch in is on the right inside the Shore Hotel.



Return information

To return your Sixt vehicle, please proceed to the Shore Hotel parking garage at 1515 Ocean Ave and collect a ticket at the gate. Continue to parking level P2 where you will find the labeled Sixt Car Return. Once you have parked your vehicle, please leave your keys with our agents in the hotel lobby. Vehicle drop off is only available during hours of operation.

Our Santa Monica branch is situated right in the heart of the city on the property of the Shore Hotel. Once you walk into the hotel, you will find the rental desk in the lobby area. We are easily reachable by bus, which you can take to the Ocean/Colorado or 2nd/Broadway stops. If coming by car, we are directly off Highway 1 on Ocean Avenue between Broadway and Colorado avenues. When you return your rental vehicle, you will do so in the hotel’s parking lot in the area that is marked "Car Return".

I love Sixt, and spend about 15 weeks pet year in their cars, so I'm giving it 3 stars. The experience at this location was 1 star. Having one single person working alone makes for a stupidly frustrating morning. Almost getting taken care of nearly an hour later with only two people ahead of me when I got here. 30 minted per customer!? There is no excuse.

Super friendly staff and very helpful in Santa Monica. Our wonderful attendant was from Munich, Germany, and she was a delight to work with. The vehicle was great - super clean and reliable. The return process at the LAX branch was a breeze, and the young lady that assisted us at drop off was courteous and helpful as well.
