The Port of Fort Lauderdale is a cruiseport for many international cruise companies. We service the port with a free shuttlebus to pick up and return you and your luggage. Our physical address is not directly located inside the port, as no car rental company may have an office directly inside the secured area.

Please call for our shuttlebus, which operates every day from 7am to 6pm, 15minutes prior to your deboarding and let our employees know, which cruise ship you are arriving on. You may reach us toll free at +1 888 747 7498. Choose option 1 and 6 to speak to one of our representatives.

Return information:

Upon return, please return to our branch address and we will shuttle you directly to the port.

Sixt is now providing rental car services to Port Everglades! We are not located inside the port, as no rental car companies are allowed due to security measures, but rather directly across from themain entrance to the port. Sixt runs a courtesy shuttle bus in between the port and our office everyday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Simply call 15 minutes prior to disembarking and Sixt will pick you up.After just a three minute ride, you will arrive at the office where our rental agents will provide you with one of our rental cars. Balearia Group has announced a one day cruise to Freeport, Bahamas. Balearia, who has been operating high-speed transport services in the Spanish Mediterranean for thirteen years, will make thetripwith their fast ferry Pinar del Rio within three hours. The ferry will features amenities such a a bar, pet cages and a duty free gift stop. The Bahamas Express will be operating from CruiseTerminal1 near the Broward County/Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center a mere five minutes from the Sixt Rent A Car office. After announcing their International Sister Seaports program in march 2007, their first Sister Seaport was announced as the Port of Olbia on the Italian island of Sardinia. Shortly after the Port of Xiamen in China signed up, followed by the Port of Marseille, in France. Last but not least, Docas do Rio (the Rio de Janeiro Port Authority) became its fourth Sister Seaport in September of 2010. Port Everglades also has an understanding with the Panama Canal Authority to encourage new business and trade.
