Vehicle pick-up

You can pick up your SIXT+ subscription car from 9:00 AM on the start date you selected during booking — your pickup date and branch address are in your booking confirmation email and in your online account.

When can you pick up your car?

Pick up is available from 9:00 AM on your chosen start date. You'll find the exact date and pickup location in your booking confirmation email and in your online profile.

Can you change your pickup date or time?

You can't move your pickup to an earlier date after booking. To move it to a later date, contact us at plus-usa@sixt.com at least 48 hours before your selected start date.

How and where do you pick up your car?

You choose your pickup city during the online booking. Once your booking is complete, the branch address appears in your online account and in your confirmation email.

What documents do you need to bring?

• A valid driver's license for all named drivers. If your license uses a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, and so on), you must also bring an international driver's license. Licenses from countries outside the international driver's license treaty must be accompanied by an official translation.
• Renters from outside the United States must bring a valid government-issued secondary form of ID, such as a passport.

Can someone else pick up the car on your behalf?

No — pickup by another person is not possible. The primary renter must be present.

Can you have your SIXT+ car delivered?

Yes. Vehicle delivery is available at designated delivery locations. Select a delivery location from the dropdown list during booking and follow the standard SIXT+ booking process.

Delivery zones and return locations

Delivery is only available within the geographical limits set by SIXT. You must return the vehicle to the corresponding SIXT location shown below.
