What services are included in the monthly rate?

The monthly payment already includes everything you need to simply hit the road with your car. Specifically, we take care of all of the following for you:

• Registration and provisioning
  • Your car is fully registered and ready to drive from day one – without any additional paperwork. 
• Maintenance, wear & tear
  • The subscription covers all standard preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations. Please be aware that while this includes normal wear and tear, the subscriber is financially responsible for any physical damage resulting from accidents.
• Seasonal tires
• Monthly adjustable mileage package
  • 500 miles / month already included. Package can be increased or decreased anytime.
• Free choice of protection package
  • Option to reduce liability in the event of a claim to as low as $0 for completely worry-free travel
• Monthly cancelation option
  • You can cancel your subscription anytime by easily returning the vehicle to the branch
• Premium fleet of latest models
  • Choose from our premium models and always get a vehicle from the current or previous model year.
• Immediate availability
  • Complete the booking entirely online and pick up your vehicle in just a few days

What other costs can occur on top of the monthly rate?

Why do I need to pay a one-time sign-up fee?

Is there a minimum contract period?

The minimum term is one month, or more precisely 30 days. The SIXT + car subscription runs very flexibly and is billed in 30-day periods. When you begin your SIXT+ car subscription, you will drive your car, at the subscription fee specified upon booking, from the start date you defined for 30 days. If you decide to return your car within this period, your SIXT+ car subscription will be terminated after one month.  

If you want to continue using the vehicle, just keep driving. Your subscription then simply continues to run and is automatically extended for another 30 days for as long as you want.

How long can I continue to drive my Sixt+ car?

No matter how long you use our SIXT+ car, your vehicle will be replaced every 12 months at the latest, because your safety and the condition of the vehicles is important to us.

Depending on the mileage or holding time of your current vehicle, it can be required to be replaced with another, equivalent vehicle, i.e. one that corresponds to the contractually-agreed vehicle group. You will be informed well in advance about the necessary vehicle exchange by the responsible SIXT branch, and we will arrange an appointment for you to exchange. You don't have to worry about anything, and you get a new, clean, perfectly-maintained, and safe car of the same category.

There is no additional charge for a vehicle exchange, as long as you stick to the agreed date.
SIXT can terminate the contract in case of breach with the terms and conditions upon written notice. 

Can I take the vehicle out of the state of rental?

2. Select your vehicle group and configure your subscription here

3. At the checkout step where you add your payment method, activate the toggle asking if you want to book for business and select your invoice address

Do corporate customers receive special rates?

We are happy to offer you exclusive business benefits when you book for business. To take advantage of this, you must register and book as described above.

Can I receive personalized consulting as a business customer?

Yes, when you register for a business account, you have the option to choose to receive consulting and book an appointment directly.

I received an offer from a sales representative. How do I finalize it?

Click the button in the email or log in to your online account to view the subscription. To complete the process, simply select your preferred payment method and confirm the booking. During this checkout step, make sure you’ve enabled the “Booking for Business” toggle and applied any voucher codes you may have.
