What are service areas and how do I recognize them? In the SIXT app, the service area for each product is marked with a red boundary line. It is displayed when you click on a SIXT share vehicle. Ending the rental is not possible outside of this marking. You can also find the map with the service area on the respective city page on this website. Please note that the service areas for the different products may vary and can be displayed by clicking on the respective product. Where can I find my account information? To access information about your customer account, click on the person icon at the top right. There you will find all important functions, such as your payment method, vouchers, and personal information. We explain how to change this information in the ""My Account"" section. What is a Booking Profile and how can I switch between them? Your Booking Profile contains information about your payment method, billing address, and email address. This allows you to decide where to receive an invoice for your trip and which payment method you would like to use. If you have multiple profiles, you can find them in the lower part of the map view (above the filter function) in our app. Simply click on the Booking Profile and select your desired profile from the list. Can I filter for specific car models? Yes, you can filter by provider, vehicle type, manufacturer, and more in the filter function. We will show you how to do this in this video tutorial. (Link to YouTube video, short explanation video needs to be created) What is the Car Radar and how does it work? With the help of the Car Radar, we search for a suitable vehicle for you. According to your filter settings, you can start searching for a vehicle up to 10 days in advance. Here's how: '- Use the ""Car Radar"" function via the 3 dots in the upper right corner of our Share tab '- Now you can set the desired location on the map and the date and time in the lower section for the day you need the vehicle. '- Then click on ""Save Radar"". '- The Car Radar is active from the selected start time for 1 hour and searches for a suitable vehicle within a radius of 500m from the specified address. '- As soon as we find a vehicle, it is automatically reserved free of charge for 15 minutes and we inform you via push message (requirement: notifications are active). '- If the vehicle is reserved for you, you can customize the rental to your needs using the ""Configure rental"" button. The blocked security amount of €30 will be adjusted and reauthorized if necessary, depending on the selected tariff. Please note that the Car Radar is only available for SIXT share vehicles. This function is not available for our partners, such as MILES. If several people start searching for the same time and place using the Car Radar, the principle ""first come, first served"" applies.
