Sedona, Arizona
People come to Sedona, located north of Phoenix and just south of Flagstaff, for the beautiful desert scenery, the art community, and the New Age vibe. But there are also spas and chances for hiking and soaking in natural pools to make for a great wellness-focused vacation. Hike to the Seven Sacred Pools and take in the surrounding scenery. In addition to springs that are at a temperature of about 128 degrees F, there is also a bathhouse with a slightly lower temperature. If you want a beach-focused wellness destination for your next vacation, look no further than Palm Beach in southern Florida. There are also forests and walking trails so you can enjoy nature. While this retreat is roughly 5 hours by car from New York City, you can also fly into Buffalo or Rochester and get there in 1.5 hours and 1 hour respectively.
