What’s a status match?
A status match is when a loyalty program recognizes your elite status from another program and grants you an equivalent — or comparable — tier, without requiring you to re-earn it from scratch.
It’s common in airlines and hotels, and it’s available at SIXT’s rewards program, SIXT ONE. Our status match program is designed for travelers who already have a track record with another loyalty program and want their SIXT experience to reflect that from day one.
Who is eligible for SIXT ONE status match?
SIXT ONE accepts status match requests from members of selected car rental, airline, and hotel loyalty programs. Confirmed eligible programs include:

What status can you get?
Through a status match, you can receive either Gold or Platinum status in SIXT ONE, depending on your current tier. Here’s a quick look at what each level unlocks:

Both tiers include access to member-only rates, the ability to skip the counter at eligible locations using the SIXT app, a wider car selection and accelerated rental point earning, so your points balance builds faster with every booking. How to request your status match
The process is straightforward and takes just a few minutes. Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Create or log into your SIXT account. You’ll need an active SIXT account before you can submit a request. If you don’t have one yet, you can create it for free on sixt.com or in the SIXT app — and while you’re at it, enroll in SIXT ONE.
Step 2: Gather your proof of status. Take a screenshot or save a copy of your current program status that clearly shows your name and tier level. A membership card, app screenshot, or account confirmation email all work.
Step 3: Submit the status match form. Head to the SIXT ONE status match registration form and complete your request. You’ll be asked to select your eligible program and upload your proof of status.
Step 4: Wait for confirmation. That’s it. SIXT will review your request and send confirmation by email, typically within two weeks.
What happens after approval
Once your status match is approved Gold or Platinum status is active immediately — no waiting period.
Your matched status is maintained until the end of the year following the year in which it was granted, giving you a meaningful window to experience the full benefits and, if you choose, earn your way to keep or upgrade your tier.
