How old do I need to be to rent an SUV?

With SIXT, you can rent an SUV from the age of 21, except for the state of New York, where there minimum age is 18 years old. Luxury SUVs are only availble for renters over the age of 25. A young driver fee may be applied if you're under the age of 25.

Can I rent an SUV with 4WD?

Some of our SUVs come with 4WD as a feature of the vehicle. You will be aware of this when booking the SUV category as it will be included in the offer. Otherwise, you can guarantee that you receive an SUV with 4WD by booking the extra 'All-Wheel Drive'.
