Your SIXT rate depends on when and where you rent, the vehicle you choose, and the package you select — you'll see all current prices in the app before you start your trip.

How pricing works

Before starting any trip, the app shows you the current per-minute rate and all available packages. Every trip also includes an unlock fee starting at €0.95.

Per-minute rate: pay only for the time you drive.
Per-kilometer rate: pay only for the distance you drive. Available in Germany only
Hourly and daily packages: better value for longer trips — select your package before starting the trip.
Mileage packages: add extra kilometers on top of any package when making your reservation.

Additional fees apply at certain drop-off locations, such as airports. You can also extend your reservation for a fee — see the full rate overview for details.

How many miles are included?

The per-minute rate includes 200 kilometers per trip. Hourly and daily packages include a varying number of kilometers depending on the length of the trip and country. Once you use up the included distance, each additional kilometer is charged at the rate shown in the rate overview.

Need more range? Add a mileage package when booking to increase the included distance for your chosen rental option.

Example

You book a 3-hour package that includes 0 kilometers. You add a mileage package with an extra 50 kilometers. Your total range for those 3 hours becomes 50 kilometers.
