For returns outside of our business hours, please return your Sixt vehicle in our return lane on level 3 of the Rental Car Center. Lock the vehicle and take the key to our key drop box which is located on the same level, immediately on the right of the Sixt booth. The shuttle bus to the airport can be retrieved on level 1 and runs 24 hours.

Sixt is conveniently located onsite at SAN's Rental Car Center. From San Diego Airport finding the airport's courtesy shuttle is uncomplicated no matter which terminal you arrive at. If landing at Terminal 1, take the escalator adjacent to the main baggage claim up to the rental car shuttle pick up area. When arriving into Terminal 2 the shuttle picks up from across the street and if you are at the commuter terminal, please call +1-619-363 6000 as the shuttle only comes as needed. You shouldn't have to worry about a long wait as shuttles are scheduled to come every 15 minutes.
