Wroclaw Nicolaus Copernicus Airport
Wroclaw Airport is located in South-West part of city Wroclaw. The International Terminal is on Graniczna Str 190 with an easy access to the newly build S8 road, which goes around Wroclaw and connects the A4 highway with the road no. 8 to Warsaw. For those travelers, who come to Wroclaw by train, the best way will be to take the bus no. 406, which goes every 20 minutes from Dworcowa St. located in front of the main Train Station.
The airport developed much within the last years, i.e. by increasing five times the number of passengers, building the new terminal, or gaining a lot of new network and low cost carriers as well as charter airlines. From the point of view of location, Wroclaw Airport is perfectly placed outside the city with an easy access to the center thanks to the recently renovated Graniczna Str and of course the bypass of Wroclaw (S8 road). All these aspects caused that this infrastructure was extremely convenient for the foreigners and fans who arrived to Poland for EURO 2012 and did not encounter any obstacles while traveling around the city and getting to the Municipal Stadium which is located right next to the bypass and not far away from Wroclaw Airport.
The Airport is not the only symbol of Wroclaw. The city is full of interesting places, which are worth visiting. Wroclaw provides interesting and colorful mixture of architectural styles, intermingled with each other, which delight every human eye. One of the architectural marvels is the Centennial Hall located next to the Municipal Zoo at Wystawowa Str. The building designed by Max Berg and finished in 1913 is a constructional phenomenon of twenty century. Surrounded by park with a colorful singing fountain is a number one in travel guide of every tourist and at the same time a very nice place to spend your free time. However, historical buildings are not all what Wroclaw has in its offer. The city hosts numerous sport and cultural events. Recently the dwellers of Wroclaw as well as the whole world could admire the struggles of international football teams for Euro Cup. One of the cultural events, which takes place every year is T-Mobile New Horizons. An International Film Festival considered to be the biggest in Poland and regarded as one of the most important film event in Central Europe.
Top sehr freundliches Personal
Alles schnell, zügig und problemlos abgelaufen
I rented a car for couple of days for a business trip.
The staff is great and the service provided too.
Yet, a bit disappointed by the car. (Not their fault, no cars available at this moment... certainly due to COVID)
I’ll come again !
