How will my AmEx ride credit change as of January 1, 2024?

As of January 1, 2024, the distribution of the credit will change. The credit applied per ride booking will increase from €20/CHF to €25/CHF. Each Platinum cardholder can continue to utilize a total credit of €200/CHF per registration year, equivalent to 8 times €25/CHF. Cardholders who have already used a portion of the credit during their current registration year will receive a rounding up of the credit to the next full amount of €25/CHF.

An example for illustration: If 2 rides at €20/CHF each have already been used before January 1, 2024, this corresponds to a remaining total credit of €160/CHF. As of January 1, 2024, this total credit will be rounded up to €175/CHF, which can still be applied to up to 7 rides within the existing registration year. The use of the ride credit is limited to the booking of professional transfer and chauffeur services, which can only be booked in advance. The credit cannot be applied to taxi bookings or other offerings from ride-hailing partners.
