A hub for the Autobahn, you have plenty of access to move in and around Frankfurt. The Autobahn 5, or A5, is the main stretch of roadway that runs through Frankfurt while the main commuter route, the A661 starts in the south and runs through the east part of the city before ending in the north. Those heading to the Messe can use the A66 for a quick connection. A ring is formed around the inner city districts by the A5 in the west, the A3 in the south and the A661 in the north-east. This ring is a designated low emission zone but you don't have to worry as your Sixt car will be outfitted with the necessary sticker. While touring around be aware that parking in the city center is rather difficult and it is best to make use of the underground parking garages if planning to spend the day downtown.
Considered one of the top global cities, Frankfurt is not only a financial capital but has a lot of on offer regarding restaurants, culture, and history. Städtische Galerie Liebieghaus

Take a walk through the city's Zoological Garden, a paradise in the middle of an urban center. We recommend also spending the day at Liebieghaus, a regal 19th-century villa with an impressive sculpture museum known as the Städtische Galerie Liebieghaus. The sculptures on view here range from ancient Egyptian to Renaissance pieces.

I have been renting cars from Sixt for several years and can therefore say that the service has not always been good.
However, the sixt colleagues at the Zeil office are always friendly, competent and helpful.
You are greeted with a smile at 7 am and the rental is also done without any problems.
The car is usually driven up and are always clean and have great equipment.
Even the car return is simple.
A really great team on site and will be happy to come back.

Updated feedback for the recent 2 times car rental, things getting better but the most important things is the improvement of the handling things with costumers. All were up to the expectation with great attitude of the staff. I had Q7 Audi, car was in perfect condition and handing over process was fast and convenient.
However, During my recent reservation I experienced 2 issues which need to be looked at for future:
1- there was no flexibility to extend car duration or change drop off point.
2- car handed over not well cleaned where you can see water stains on dashboard and dirty body external.
I had another car due to no extension granted then I was surprised that my elite member ship does not support me for upgrade and old car was provided until I pay extra to get brand new one.
Suggestion:
Appreciate if Sixt develop program or treatment for elite members similar to other organisation which will add value for every costumer satisfaction and will encourage others to improve their member status.
