The ideal city hopper, the BMW M140i is part of the BMW 1-series but retains the coveted sporty features of the original BMW M-series. First designed by BMW in 2004 the 1-Series is made up of hatchback cars and the original M140i and M240i were built to replace the M135i and M235i. The first generation 1-Series was manufactured from 2004 to 2013 followed by second that was placed on the market in 2011 until present day. Although the 1 Series used to included coupe and convertible cars those of its second generation are now placed in the BMW 2 series. Currently the 1-Series solely features entry level rear-wheel drive hatchback luxury cars.
For luxury sedan fans the BMW M140i is a great fit. These fun city cars offer the ideal driving dynamic of a high performance model. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds thanks to its BMW xDrive and features 8-speed, automatic rear wheel drive. The M140i is also quite the powerhouse with a 3.0 liter turbo-charged straight-six engine, offering 340 bhp and 368 lb ft. of torque.
