How are the ride prices calculated?

SIXT ride prices depend on the type of ride and the service provider you select.

Taxi and On-Demand Rides:

These rides are priced via a taximeter, and the system provides an estimated fare during the booking process. The final fare is calculated based on the actual route and displayed at the end of the ride. No additional payment is required to the driver.

Transfers and Limousine Services:

Pre-booked rides in the RIDE, BUSINESS, FIRST, GREEN, and XL classes are charged at fixed rates. These prices include local taxes and reflect the service level selected. Prices may vary depending on demand, time, and location. Additional fees may apply for route changes, extra waiting times, or additional mileage during the ride.

Hourly Rides:

For rides booked by the hour, a fixed hourly rate applies, which includes a certain number of free kilometers (30 km / 20 miles per hour). If you exceed this allowance, additional charges apply.

Entering accurate ride details, such as flight numbers, passenger count, and any special requests, helps ensure your ride price is calculated correctly and avoids unexpected fees.
