HOW TO GET FROM VENICE AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER

Your most comfortable option to get from Venice Airport to Venice is to book a private chauffeur via SIXT ride. This personalized service can be booked up to an hour ahead of time. Enjoy timely service as your driver will greet you in the arrivals hall. You're even covered in case of any delay—your driver will have your flight tracking information so they'll know of any changes, and they'll wait for you for up to 60 minutes after you land. You can even arrange for car service between appointments as you sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from the back seat of your premium vehicle.

Local taxis are also a feasible option for getting from Venice Airport to the iconic city of Venice. At the moment, we don't have any partnerships with local taxi companies, but you can either book a taxi once you land through a mobile app or hail one yourself outside the airport. On-demand taxis like this can be useful when you're not sure of your plans and want to keep your final destination flexible.

You can also choose public transportation, though this will take longer, doesn't allow for spontaneity, and is often awkward with luggage.
