HOW TO GET FROM ATHENS AIRPORT TO PIRAEUS

The most convenient way to get from the Athens airport to Piraeus port is to book a private airport transfer through the SIXT app. You'll enjoy a meet-and-greet with your driver in the arrivals hall of ATH, and in case of delay, don't worry — your driver will have your flight tracking information and will wait for you for up to 60 minutes after you land. Hailing a regular taxi is another way to get to the Port of Piraeus from Athens airport. To find a licensed taxi from the airport, you can exit the Arrivals area at Exits 2 and 3. Public transport is also available from Athens International Airport to Piraeus port for a more budget-friendly price. However, this will take longer; about 60 minutes for the metro. The Metro Line 3, or the Blue Line, connects the Athens airport directly to the port — just hop off at the stop "Piraeus."

Bus line X96 also connects the Athens airport to the port of Piraeus. The journey will take about 90 minutes, and the bus can be found between Exits 4 and 5 of the Arrivals area at the airport. Buses run every 30 to 40 minutes, but they are less frequent during the months of October through May.
