SMS Policy SIXT

Opt-in

SIXT Mobile Notifications is a standard rated subscription alert service providing time-sensitive mobile alerts to customers that include information regarding current/upcoming rentals, promotional offers, SMS/MMS messages, and coupons about SIXT Rent a Car, LLC (“SIXT”). By signing up you agree to receive text messages regarding your rental status, customer surveys, notices, confirmations, reservations, receipts, invoices and billing information, collection communications, advertisements, events and promotions, and other information regarding goods, services, rental programs and products offered by SIXT, including fuel and toll options available for your rental. You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the phone number(s) provided in connection with your rental and that you are authorized to opt-in for these purposes.

By opting in, you authorize SIXT, or an agent of SIXT, to deliver telephonic sales calls by text message using an automatic telephone dialing system or an automated system for the selection and dialing of telephone numbers, and at any time, including outside the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in your time zone. This consent is not required, directly or indirectly, to purchase property, goods, or services from SIXT, or to execute your rental agreement.

You further consent to the use of an electronic/digital signature and electronic records to document your opt-in consent. To request a free paper or electronic copy of your opt-in, or to update your contact information, please contact SIXT toll free at 1-888-341-5688. To view and/or save an electronic copy of your agreement to these SMS terms, you will need access to a device capable of accessing the internet that either has a connection to a printer or space to save electronic files. To receive a copy by email on the device, you must have access to an email account and software that allows you to display the contents of emails received at that account.

Opt-out

To Opt-Out (discontinue service), text "STOP" to the SMS received from SIXT from the same mobile device. You may also opt out by contacting SIXT toll free at 1-888-341-5688. Please allow up to five business days for SIXT to process your request to opt out.

To start receiving messages again, send an SMS back with START.

Warranty

SIXT will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages connected with our sms Gateway. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider/network operator.

Privacy

We will only use your information to provide you the services you request and as set forth in our privacy policy which can be found at www.sixt.com/privacy.

Fee

SIXT does not charge a fee for text messaging service. Standard messaging and data rates may apply, we are not responsible for any charges from a person's service provider that may result from us providing this service. SIXT assumes no responsibility for charges incurred by signing up for this text messaging service. Any text messaging fees that you incur will be billed on your individual mobile provider bill.
