How extras are charged
Extras are charged per day on top of your base rate, usually with a daily cap — the exact additional price appears in your booking summary before you confirm.

What influences the price
Dates — longer rentals spread the fixed costs, while shorter ones may cost more per day
Location — airport branches include airport fees and location surcharges; a different country may mean a different rate
Vehicle category — upgrades increase the price, downgrades reduce it (depending on the rate)

Early changes almost always secure a better price — within 48 hours of pick-up, prices may rise depending on demand.

SIXT cannot change a rental booked through a travel agency, intermediary or tour operator — your contract is with that provider. Please contact them directly first. At the branch, SIXT can assist with upgrades, extras and additional drivers.
Why third-party bookings are different
The third-party provider creates your booking under their own terms and prices. SIXT receives the reservation but not the original payment, which is why we cannot change the contract directly
