Can SIXT change a booking I made through a third party?

Change or modify a booking

SIXT cannot change a rental booked through a travel agency, intermediary or tour operator — your contract is with that provider. Please contact them directly first. At the branch, SIXT can assist with upgrades, extras and additional drivers.

Why third-party bookings are different

The third-party provider creates your booking under their own terms and prices. SIXT receives the reservation but not the original payment, which is why we cannot change the contract directly

What SIXT can do for you at the branch

  • Add an additional driver on site

  • Add extras (e.g. child seat, GPS, prepaid fuel, protection package upgrade) where your booked rate allows

  • Upgrade to a higher vehicle category at the branch

  • Extend your rental during the rental period
