Tiers and points thresholds
Silver — entry tier (immediately upon joining)
Gold — from 2,000 status points
Platinum — from 4,000 status points
Diamond — from 6,000 status points
For short-term rentals (under 28 days), you earn 1 status point per €1 of qualifying rental spend, and for long-term rentals (28 days or more), 1 status point per €4. Your status remains valid until the end of the year after the one in which you reached it.
How to join
Sign in on the SIXT website or in the SIXT app — or create a new account if you don't have one yet
Accept the SIXT ONE program terms and then select Join Now
If you don't see the option, log into your SIXT account, select SIXT ONE, and choose Join now.
Membership is active immediately — you'll receive confirmation by email. SIXT ONE is free to join. You need to be an individual old enough to rent a car in your country of residence. Full eligibility is in our Terms and Conditions.

Do you already have status with another car rental company, an airline, or a hotel group? In most cases, you can have that status matched with SIXT ONE.
The following programs are eligible for a status match
Car rental companies: Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, Europcar Privilege Club, Avis Preferred, Enterprise Plus
Airlines: Miles & More and other selected airline programs
Hotels: ALL Accor, Best Western Rewards, Dorint, GHA Discovery, H Rewards, Kempinski, Leaders Club, Marriott Bonvoy, Meliá Rewards, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Rewards, Small Luxury Hotels (SLH)
Good to know: You can't link a loyalty account directly to SIXT — but you can match your status to SIXT ONE. Not every program is eligible, though: Delta SkyMiles and AAdvantage (American Airlines), for example, are currently not possible.
Before you start
You'll need a SIXT ONE account for your status match. If you don't have one yet, you can set it up in just a few minutes in the SIXT app or on the website.
How to request your status match
The exact steps depend on where your status comes from:
Status from an airline
Go to sixt.com/partners and select your airline.
On the partner page, scroll down to the Status Match section.
Click the link, sign in to your SIXT account, and upload proof of your status.
Can't find a Status Match link on the partner page? Then a match with this partner is unfortunately not possible.
Status from a hotel group
Start a chat with us: simply message us here.
Tell us your details: let us know which hotel chain you are with and the status you would like matched.
Receive your link: we will send you a personalized link directly in this chat.
Complete your request: open the link, sign in to your SIXT account, and upload proof of your current status.
Status from another car rental company
Open this link and select your previous rental company.
Scroll down to the Status Match section.
Click the link, sign in to your SIXT account, and upload proof of your status.
What happens next
We'll review your proof. Once that's done, you'll receive a confirmation email with your new SIXT ONE status.
Would you like to match with another partner (e.g. American Express, Visa, Mastercard, or Bahn.Bonus)?
In that case, the status match is only possible via the partner's website. Please log in with the partner and match your status directly on their site.

SIXT ONE rewards you with two types of points for every qualifying rental: status points and rental points.
Status tiers
Status points unlock higher status tiers: Gold (2,000+), Platinum (4,000+), and Diamond (6,000+), and higher tiers boost your rental point earnings: +10% (Gold), +20% (Platinum), and +30% (Diamond).
How you earn points
You earn status and rental points based on your spending on the rental price, excluding taxes, fees, and mandatory charges. You'll see whether your rental earns points during online booking.
Currency and crediting
Since SIXT ONE calculates points in euros, spending in other currencies is automatically converted using the exchange rate from your invoicing date. Points are then credited to your account within 48 hours.

To redeem rental points, open the SIXT app and start a booking. On the Review your booking page, look for your points. If you have enough, you can then choose how many to redeem for savings.
How to redeem your points
Open the SIXT app and make sure you are logged in to your SIXT account
Start your booking as usual, select a car and choose your extras
At the final booking step, your available rental points are displayed automatically
If you’ve collected enough points to cover your booking, select how many points you’d like to apply to the base rate
Pay any remaining amount with your card or another accepted payment method
What rental points can be used for
Rental points reduce the base rate of your rental (time and mileage only) — they cannot be applied to taxes, fees, protection packages or extras.

Rental points can only be redeemed in the SIXT app
Rental points can only be redeemed for personal rentals — not for business rentals
Not combinable with vouchers, business bookings, truck rentals, or partner rewards

SIXT ONE has four membership tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Benefits grow with each tier — from member discounts and bonus points to complimentary upgrades and exclusive services. You advance through tiers by earning status points on qualifying rentals.

How to advance tiers
You earn status points for qualifying rental spend:
Short-term rentals (under 28 days): 1 status point per €1

Once you reach the next points threshold, your tier is updated automatically.

How to maintain your status
Your status is valid until the end of the calendar year following the year in which you achieved it. Reaching the required threshold again in that following year retains your status.

Past rentals completed before you joined SIXT ONE don't earn points. Points from rentals after you join are credited within 48 hours of your invoice date and can be redeemed on future rentals.

Were you signed in with your SIXT ONE account when you made the booking?
Are you the registered main driver, and is your SIXT ONE account linked to the rental?
Was your rental eligible – was the pick-up country one of the participating countries listed above, and was it not a SIXT+/ride/share booking?
Has it been at least 48 hours since your invoice date?
Are your preference settings set to earn SIXT rental points instead of partner points?

If you've checked all of these and your points are still missing, email sixtone@sixt.com with your rental agreement number, invoice copy, and SIXT ONE membership number — within 3 months of your rental's end date.

You can earn points on eligible rentals through either SIXT ONE or a participating partner program, such as an airline or hotel loyalty program. Please note that points can only be credited to one program per rental.
Choosing your rewards programs
By default, you earn points for SIXT ONE. As a SIXT ONE member, you can change this setting at any time: open the settings in your SIXT ONE account and change your rewards programs there.
If you are not a SIXT ONE member, you can provide your preferred partner program information during booking or at vehicle pickup.
Adding a Program During Booking
When making a reservation:
Select "Voucher and Bonus Program".
Choose your preferred program under "Program Name"
Enter your membership number
Select "Save"
If you forget to add your membership number during booking, there is no need to contact us in advance. It can be added at pickup.
At Vehicle Pickup
If you are collecting your vehicle at a SIXT counter, simply provide your membership number and a SIXT team member can add it to your rental.
Please note that this option is only available for counter pickups and is not available for self-service vehicle collection.
When Are Points Credited?
Points are typically credited automatically a few days after your final invoice has been issued. If points have not been credited, we recommend reviewing the terms and conditions of your selected program and comparing them to your rental. Not every booking qualifies for point accrual. For example, certain rates, including some prepaid or advance booking tariffs, may be excluded.
Tip: On our website you will find all partner programs at a glance — for each programs it states how many points or miles you earn per rental. Depending on the programs, special conditions also apply, for example for rentals with a voucher, tariffs with prepayment, or van bookings.

SIXT ONE follows a calendar year approach for status and status points. Your status is maintained until the end of the following year after achieving it. For example, if you reach Gold in November 2026, you keep that status tier until December 2027.
Status points
Status points are valid until the end of the year in which they are earned; expired points are deducted from your points balance annually.
Rental points
Rental points are valid for 24 months from the end of the quarter in which they were earned; expired points are deducted from your points balance quarterly.

As a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond member, you get member rates when logged in and booking in the SIXT app or on the website.
For Silver members
US and Canada: You get better member rates in the SIXT app than on the web.
Select European countries: Member rates are available only in the SIXT app.
Note: You can use member rates and redeem rental points on the same booking. Member rates apply only to qualifying personal car and truck rentals. They can't be used for business bookings or combined with other promotional offers.
