SIXT Rent a Car is an approved government car rental company, and with this you can expect competitive governmental car rental rates. The easiest way to book this offer is via official governmental portals.

The Government Administrative Rate Supplement (GARS) is charged on all official travel. This is a $5 per day fee and is required per the terms of the US Government Car Rental Agreement. An ID may need to shown at the rental counter to ensure that you receive the benefits mentioned above. SIXT supports all branches of the government.

Where and how to book a governmental car rental rate with Sixt?

Eligible customers traveling on government business can book a governmental car rental by using one of the following options:

  • Via the official governmental portals that promote Sixt's Governmental car rental rate (e.g. Concurgov, Travel Defense System).
  • Via one of the governmental travel management companies in the US - such as CWTSato, Omega World Travel etc.
  • By contacting any of the Sixt stations across the US. No booking via call center is avaliable.
