I am currently in the middle of a 4-day rental and am very satisfied with my experience at Sixt (Albufeira). I had some initial worries renting a car as a tourist from North America, but my concerns disappeared very quickly. My interactions began with Diana who alerted me a few days prior by email that I had multiple reservations booked. Instead of cancelling preemptively, she took the time and effort to contact me and determine my preference of car (petrol or EV) and also answered other questions I had. I finally settled on keeping my mid-size booking and giving up the EV. At the rental location, Juan greeted me very warmly at the counter and proceeded with the transaction in a professional and courteous manner. He patiently explained the insurance options, toll charges that I may incur, and fuel prepayment options. He was very detailed and knowledgeable in his role. Rodrigo performed the check-out inspection prior to my possession. He took the time to patiently show me the features of the car, was very understanding of my request to photograph/document some very minor blemishes with the car, and even reassured me that Sixt stood by its vehicles and reputation. All the staff I encountered were amazing and I would definitely recommend the Albufeira location to anyone wishing to rent from a professional, clean and cordial business. I would rent from Sixt on my next visit for sure!
