Part of the Hordaland County, Sagvag is a hidden gem in a land of myth and legend. It is one of two towns on the Island of Stord, the site where the 10th century battle of Stord took place between Norway and Denmark. Sagvag has a good harbour which makes it popular for leisure boats visiting the area.
The Island is renowned for its breathtaking scenery which includes majestic mountains, pristine fiords and picturesque coastlines. A car rental from Sixt in Sagvag is the perfect way to discover this magical destination.
In contrast to its natural wonders the area around Sagvag is also home to the spectacular man-made Triangle link which connects Sagvag and the rest of the Island to the Island of Bomlo and the mainland. The link is comprised of bridges and an underground tunnel. It pays to rent a car to fully experience this impressive construction.
