Sightseeing Destinations
No visit to Stuttgart is complete without some time spent at the Mercedes-Benz factory and museum at Sindelfingen. The museum is housed in a spectacular curved metal building while the exhibits take you right back to the birth of motor transport. Hohenzollern Castle is one of the most famous and beautiful in Germany. Built in the 11th century, it sits on the Berg Hohenzollern and towers over the towns of Bisingen and Hechingen. We recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds. The Seewald Leisure Park is the perfect day in the countryside for the whole family. Full of walking trails and adventurous activities, it is also home to southern Germany's longest toboggan ride. Art lovers can pop into the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. Its curvy and colorful design is by the British architect James Stirling. It houses European art from artists like Picasso, Klee, and Matisse.
