The airport is just a 20-minute drive from downtown Pereira. The city does experience congestion during rush hour so try to avoid traveling centrally during these times.
Pereira is a popular destination to do business, but it is also a fantastic gateway town to some stunning nature reserves and has some interesting architecture and attractions. For art lovers the city houses the Museo de Arte de Pereira; an excellent art gallery exhibiting contemporary art from Colombia and the rest of South America.
