Every SIXT rental includes Basic Protection with a standard deductible. Smart Protection and All-Inclusive Protection reduce your deductible to zero. Upgrade online before your pick-up to lower your liability.

Enter your SIXT voucher during the booking process on the SIXT website or in the SIXT app under Voucher and Bonus Program — the discount is applied immediately to your total.
Step by step
Start your search on the SIXT website or in the SIXT app with your pick-up location, rental period and vehicle category
Select a Pay at Pick-up rate — prepaid rates are not eligible
Add any extras or protection packages, then enter your personal details
Under Voucher and Bonus Program, enter your voucher code and click Redeem Voucher
Complete your booking — the discount will be reflected in your total
Important conditions
Only valid on new bookings with the Pay at Pick-up payment option
Cannot be applied retroactively to existing or past bookings
Check your voucher for country eligibility, vehicle category and rental period conditions
The rental must be completed before the voucher expiry date

Why isn't my voucher working?
Only Pay at Pick-up rates are eligible — prepaid rates are excluded
The country, rental period and vehicle category must meet the voucher conditions

SIXT rates are dynamic — the price you see may change based on demand, availability, or any adjustment to your dates or location. A rate is only guaranteed once your booking is confirmed.

We offer adaptive driving devices at no additional charge, allow surrogate drivers for customers without a valid license, and provide ADA-accessible airport shuttles. For wheelchair lift-equipped vans, SIXT recommends a third-party provider.

Surrogate driver
Customers without a valid driver’s license may rent with SIXT when accompanied by a surrogate driver who holds a valid license
There is no additional charge for the surrogate driver, and they are not required to provide a credit card or meet financial requirements
Wheelchair lift-equipped vans
SIXT does not offer wheelchair lift-equipped vans for rental. As a courtesy, SIXT recommends Wheelchair Getaways (www.wheelchairgetaways.com | +1 866-224-1750), an unaffiliated third-party provider.
ADA-accessible airport shuttles
ADA-accessible shuttles are available at all airport locations that offer shuttle service.

Which seat for which child
Infant seat: for babies up to 15 months, height up to 32 in (81 cm) — rear-facing only
Toddler seat: for children aged 6 months to 4 years, height up to 49 in (124 cm)
Booster seat: for children aged 4 to 12 years, height 43-57 in (110-145 cm)
