With the SIXT travel agency rates, you can offer your customers without their own SIXT framework agreement first-class service at corporate customer conditions.

Overview of the SIXT Travel Agency Rates

Comfort Package

The Comfort Package is the most comprehensive package that you can offer to your customers. It includes a range of benefits, such as:

  • Unlimited mileage: Your customers can enjoy unlimited mileage in all countries where SIXT operates.
  • Liability protection: Your customers are protected against liability for damages to third parties.
  • Collision damage waiver with 0€ excess: Your customers are protected against the cost of any collision damage with no excess payment required.
  • Theft protection with minimum excess: Your customers are protected against theft of the vehicle, with a low excess payment required.
  • Free rebooking and cancellation: Your customers have the flexibility to change or cancel their reservation free of charge.
  • Winter tires: During the winter season (October - April), winter tires are included in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The prices you see in the GDS or in the SIXT agency login are the estimated total prices, which means that the price you see is the actual price your customer will pay for the vehicle. All charges, including taxes, are already included in the displayed price.

Advanced Package

The Advanced Package is similar to the Comfort Package, but it does not include zero excess.

With this rate, your customers can enjoy unlimited mileage in most countries. Liability protection, loss damage waiver, and theft protection with excess are included for all countries as well.

As with the Comfort Package, the prices you see in GDS or the agency login are estimated total prices, which display the total amount your customer will have to pay. The rate already includes additional costs such as premium location fees and taxes.

Your customers can also take advantage of the rebooking and cancellation policy, as well as winter tires in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland during the winter season (October - April).

Basic Package

The Basic Package is suitable for customers who do not require any additional protection.

This package includes unlimited mileage in most countries and liability protection. However, loss damage waiver and theft protection are not included.

If your customers prefer to have a product with protection, you may choose either the Advanced or Comfort package, or add the desired extras during the booking process.

The charges for taxes and premium location fees are already included in the rate. In addition, rebooking and cancellation are free of charge, and winter tires are included for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland during winter season (October - April).

Accepted methods of payment

The SIXT travel agency rates are "pay-on-arrival" rates, which means that the selected method of payment is only charged after the customer returns their vehicle to a SIXT station and the rental contract is concluded. SIXT accepts the following payment methods:

Credit cards

SIXT accepts the following credit cards as means of payment:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Eurocard / Mastercard
  • Visa
  • JCB
  • Discover Card
  • China Union Pay

Credit Card Policy: It's important to note that the credit card used for the rental must be in the name of the renter. The customer cannot use the credit card of a travel companion or anyone else who is not the renter. Our Rental Agents will always request that the customer presents the credit card that was used to make the reservation.

Travel agency vouchers

To make use of a travel agency voucher for your customers, your agency can pay either a portion of the rental cost or the full amount on behalf of the customer. To find out if the option of voucher payment is available in your country and if your agency is activated for this sort of payment, please contact your local SIXT sales manager.

SIXT has two different types of vouchers that you can offer to your customers:

Full credit voucher: With a full credit voucher, your customer does not need a credit card or any other means of payment to rent a car from SIXT. Your agency can cover the full rental costs on behalf of your customer.

Limited credit voucher: With a limited credit voucher, your agency can cover a specific amount of the rental costs on behalf of your customer. Please note that your customer needs to present a credit card upon car pick-up since additional costs exceeding the amount you stated to cover will be charged to the customer's credit card.

For both types of vouchers, SIXT will send an invoice to your agency after the rental agreement has been closed, stating the amount of the rental along with the rental information.

You can issue both types of vouchers in GDS as well as in the agency login. By issuing a voucher during the booking process, the voucher is automatically stored in the reservation and your customer does not need an additional paper voucher. The SIXT Travel Agency Special Rate

The SIXT Travel Agency Special Rate is a dynamic rate offered to SIXT's travel agency partners, in addition to the static SIXT travel agency rates. This special rate is based on the SIXT public rate, which is the online retail rate and varies based on the demand. By offering the Travel Agency Special Rate, SIXT grants access to the last available car at the SIXT station, and provides a discount of up to 5% for its travel agency partners.
