The Bayerischer Hof was opened in 1841 - on the wishes of King Ludwig I, who wanted a comfortable place for his guests to stay. The Bayerischer Hof has been owned by the Volkhardt family for over a hundred years. In other words: Hospitality has a long tradition at The Bayerischer Hof and SIXT has a close partnership with the hotel since its founding 1912. Fast service of a rental car is ensured by the SIXT car rental station right in the hotel.
