very simple:\n'- Find a partner gas station using the SIXT app.\n'- Select the fuel pump in the app BEFORE beginning to refuel.\n'- Proceed to refuel and wait for confirmation in the app that the refueling process is complete.\n'- Get back in the car and continue driving. We will handle the payment for you automatically.\n\n What happens if I did not refuel at a partner gas station?\nThe vehicles must be refueled at our partner gas stations. If you had to refuel at a different gas station, please contact our customer service.\n\n How can I refuel the SIXT share vehicles?\nThe vehicles can be refueled at our partner gas stations. The app will guide you through the refueling process and handle the payment automatically for you. Simply select the gas pump in the app before refueling, refuel the vehicle, and wait for the app to give you the 'go' signal. You can skip the trip to the cashier – we will handle the payment for you automatically. As a thank you for refueling, you will receive a voucher for a future rental. The amount of the voucher is based on the difference between the fill level at the beginning and end of the rental in%. For every 10% difference, you will receive €1. Percentages are always rounded down to the nearest whole number.\n\n How does charging electric vehicles work with SIXT share?\nTo charge an electric vehicle, please follow these steps:\n\n'- Find a charging station using the SIXT app.\n'- Connect the charging cable. Please use only the charging cable provided in the trunk or the one fixed to the charging station. Follow the instructions at the charging station.\n'- Plug in the charging cable first. Hold the chip up to the charging station to start the charging process.\n'- Wait for confirmation in the app that the charging process has started successfully.\n'- We will handle the payment for you automatically. You can end or continue the rental as desired.\n\n Can I keep the electric car even after the charging process is complete?\nYes, you have the option to charge the car and continue the rental during the charging process. Simply drive to a free charging station displayed in the app and start the charging process. Do not end the rental, as the electric vehicle will only be visible and rentable in the app once it is fully charged. During the charging process, rental fees will continue to be calculated at the per-minute rate displayed in the app at the time of reservation.\n\n I recently plugged in an electric car at a charging station and now I can't find it in the app to rent again. What happened?\nOnce the charging process of an electric car has started, it will only be visible and rentable again once it is fully charged. If you just want to make a quick stop, we recommend keeping the rental active during the charging process.\n\n How can I find a charging station to charge a SIXT share electric car?\nSimply open the SIXT app and click on the 'Charging' icon to see all available partner charging stations. The SIXT app will guide you to the charging station.\n\nHow do I connect the charging cable?\nDuring the first charging process, you will receive a brief explanation of the steps in the app. Depending on the type of vehicle, the app will show you where to find the opening for the charging cable. The charging cable is located in the trunk – please connect it to the vehicle and the charging station. Refer to the vehicle's user manual, which can be found in the glove compartment, for further instructions. Hold the charging card or charging chip up to the charging station to start the charging process and wait for confirmation in the SIXT app that the charging has successfully started. What should I do?\nPlease check if the charging cable is properly connected to both the vehicle and the charging station. What should I do?\nStart your rental as usual using the SIXT app and unlock the car. Remove the charging cable from both the charging station and the vehicle and store it in the trunk.
