\n\nAs a thank-you for refueling, you'll receive a voucher toward a future rental. The voucher amount is based on the difference in fuel level (%) between the start and end of your rental — for every 10% difference, you receive $1. Percentages are always rounded down to the nearest whole number.
\n\nSIXT Share vehicles must be refueled at partner gas stations. If you had no choice but to use a different station, please contact our customer service team.
\n\nFirst time charging? The app will walk you through each step. It will also show you where the charging port is located on your specific vehicle. For further guidance, check the vehicle's user manual in the glove compartment.
\n\nYes. You can charge the vehicle and continue your rental at the same time. Do not end the rental while charging — once a charging session starts, the car only becomes visible and available to rent again once it is fully charged. Per-minute rental fees continue to apply during charging at the rate shown in the app at the time of your reservation.
\n\nOnce charging begins, the vehicle is hidden from the app until it is fully charged. If you only need a short break, keep your rental active rather than ending it.
\n\nStart your rental as usual in the SIXT app and unlock the car. Pull the charging cable firmly to disconnect it from the charging station, then unplug it from the vehicle and store it in the trunk.
\n\nCheck that the cable is properly connected to both the vehicle and the charging station. Restart the charging process. If the issue continues, try a different charging station.
