LOSS DAMAGE WAIVER (LDW) INCLUDING THEFT PROTECTION AND SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE<\/b> (SLI)<\/b><\/h4>\n

The LDW includes theft protection and covers you when your car rental is lost or damaged. Whereas SLI covers you for up to $1 million in damages to the third party for bodily injury and\/or property damages sustained as a result of an accident while the renter is operating a rental vehicle. While this coverage is extremely broad in scope, our optional coverage options also cover a range of other possible eventualities.<\/p>\n

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE, ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY SICKNESS PROTECTION<\/b><\/h4>\n

While the loss damage waiver covers property, personal accident insurance is an excellent way to financially protect the driver in case of an accident. This covers injuries to the driver or other people in the rental vehicle.<\/p>\n

Roadside assistance will cover the costs of breakdowns due to events such as loss of keys or a dead battery. If you are a non-US citizen, emergency sickness protection is a great way to protect yourself from costly medical fees in case of sickness. To see a full breakdown of what is covered just ask at the branch where you pick up your vehicle. Further information will also be presented to you in your vehicle documents.<\/p>\n

LIMITATIONS OF COVERAGE<\/b><\/h3>\n

In California, your coverage will be invalid if you do not follow the territorial restrictions for taking your vehicle across state lines. In most US states this is the state you rented the vehicle in and the surrounding states.
