Do you offer vehicles with adaptive driving devices for drivers with disabilities?

Yes! SIXT is committed to providing a range of adaptive driving devices for our customers with disabilities. Available adaptive driving devices include:

Left- or right-hand controls
Spinner knobs
\n Such devices are available at no additional charge. We will make every attempt to satisfy requests for vehicles with adaptive driving devices. However, we may require advance notice of up to three business days depending on the location where the request was made. Can someone else drive a vehicle rented by a driver with a disability?
\nYes. If you are disabled and do not have a valid driver's license, you can still rent a car when accompanied by a "surrogate driver". The surrogate driver must present a valid driver's license and meet SIXT’s standard requirements for rental. Minimum age restrictions and other normal rental qualifications apply. There is no additional charge for the surrogate driver. Payment for the rental may be secured by either the renter or surrogate driver. "}}
