Prepaid car rental with SIXT rent a car
With SIXT rent a car we offer prepay options for your car rental at any one of our worldwide locations. By booking directly through SIXT you can get up to 25% off base rates. Making it easy to plan your vacation budget and once you arrive at the rental counter you will be able to get your rental even quicker. During the reservation process you will be asked how you would like to pay - select the pre-paid option and then see how much you can save!
Does SIXT offer a prepaid car rental rate?
Yes, SIXT offers prepaid rates as well as pay later (flexible) rates. Fees do apply upon cancellation and amendment of prepaid reservations. Also, the name on the card used to pay must match the name of the primary driver on the reservation. For more information, please check our Terms and Conditions.
Can I use a debit card to rent a car?
Yes, SIXT accepts debit cards. Check out our Can I rent without a credit card age for more information.
Note: Debit cards are not accepted for rentals in Canada.
Is a prepaid rental car for someone else possible?
No, at the time of booking the primary driver's name must be provided along with the credit card used for payment. The name listed on the credit card used must also match the primary driver’s name.
Is there a cancellation fee for prepaid bookings?
A prepaid booking can be cancelled before the start of the rental. In the event of a cancellation , any refund of the payment made towards the rental is subject to a cancellation fee. For reservations with a rental period lasting no more than three days, the total prepaid amount is non-refundable. For reservations with a rental period lasting more than three days: The first three days are non-refundable, the remaining days will be refunded. Cancellations can be made online. What is a pay later reservation?
A pay later reservation does not require full payment until the time of pick-up. These reservations tend to cost more than prepaid reservations but are more flexible and offer free cancellation and changes. For Terms and Conditions, please click here .
