We offer a variety of payment options to suit your preferences. Major credit cards are welcome, and we also accept debit cards at specific locations, depending on your location and the type of vehicle. If you&#39;ve booked and paid in advance, just make sure to have the card you used at vehicle pick-up, and the cardholder should be present. We&#39;ve got your payment covered, so you can focus on enjoying your journey with SIXT!<br> </p>\n<ul><li>The payment method must be issued under the renter&#39;s name and must be physically presented at pick-up. Cards must be valid for the entire rental period. Cards expire on the last day of the month listed on the expiration date.</li><li>Cards from online banking institutions are accepted as long as the renter presents the physical card, and all other guidelines are followed.</li><li>Credit and debit cards are required to have a chip, except for China Union Pay cards.</li><li>We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard/Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, China Union Pay, Japan Credit Bureau and AirPlus. The credit card used must have sufficient available credit at pick-up. Payments with a credit card may require the credit card PIN.</li><li>We do not accept virtual credit cards or virtual debit cards, prepaid cards, checks or cash.</li><li>Chime credit cards are only accepted as a payment method the end of the rental period once the rental is returned. Customer choosing to make final payment with a Chime credit card are still required to present a major credit card at the time of pick up.</li><li>PayPal is accepted for prepaid reservations only, and only at selected locations. Please see <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https://www.sixt.com/help-center/articles/PayPal/\">here</a> for further details.</li><li>SIXT Express cards (Advantage Circle) are not accepted as a valid payment method.</li></ul>\n<p><br>At pick-up, the payment method will be authorized for an amount that includes the rental price, all additional charges and extras, and a security hold dictated by the vehicle driven. These funds will not be available to you during the rental.
