Driving License

All non-EU nationals will need an international driving license to drive in Benelux.

Minimum age and additional drivers

Drivers must be aged 21 years or older and be in possession of a valid driver%u2019s license for at least a year to rent a car in Benelux. Additional drivers must present an original, valid ID and driver's license upon pick-up as well.

Refueling

All Sixt car rentals in Benelux include a full tank of gas. Vehicles must be returned full as well. Our prepaid fuel option enables drivers to purchase a full tank upon booking that is comparable to local gas prices.

Accidents

In the event of an accident please contact the police immediately and report any damages to the rental vehicle directly to Sixt. Please fill out the accident report form included with the car rental documents. You can dial 112 in case of emergency anywhere in the EU at no cost.
