  The so-called Circus of Sun comes back to Barcelona. The magic performances will take place from 20 January until 18 March 2012 in the platform of Zoo Marino under the Grand Chapiteau.   Sixt recommends to visit the Christmas fairs in Barcelona in order to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city to the fullest. The most traditional and interesting one is the Fair of Santa Llúria,which is situated at Plaza Nova in front of the Cathedral in the Gótico cuarter. Here you can find everything you need for your Christmas decoration at home! • 27.10.2011- 43.Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival

  Until 1st of December 2011 the famous 43. Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival is taking place in Barcelona. That festival already started at the end of the sixties in Barcelona and since than it offers every year from the end of October until the beginning of December numerous concerts of well-known jazz musicians from all over the world. This year it has been opened by the Saxophonist Wayne Shorter, a member of the Miles Davis Quintet during the sixties. • 23.09.2011- 64th International Motor Show in Frankfurt

  Since 15 September 2011 the popular IAA takes place again in Frankfurt, finishing the coming Sunday, on 25 September 2011. This year there are more premières of cars than in the years before %u2013 boropean and World premières. Due to the actual environmentally friendly trend all over the world, the new motto of the IAA is sustainable mobility. The car producers offer new models like Audi A6 Avant, Audi R8 GT Spyder, BMW M5, Mercedes ML und SLS AMG Roadster with lower consumption but still more power. Let's wait and see when Sixt may incorporate one of these new models in its fleet.

• 04.08.2011- Catalonia leads the decline in unemployment in Spain with 36,800 fewer unemployed people

  Unemployment has fallen in Catalonia by 36,800 people in the first quarter, a figure that reduces the rate in the community to 18.06% and the total number of unemployed people to 690.900, as published by the National Statistics Institute (INE).In the whole of Spain, the number of unemployed has decreased by 76,500 people and 1.56% compared to the previous one. This brings the unemployment rate four tenth down to 20.89 % and puts the total volume of unemployed below 4.9 million.Catalonia was the community that has experienced the largest decline in unemployment in the second quarter, followed by the Balearic Islands, where unemployment has been reduced by 28,500 people.

  From 14th until 17th of february 2011 the World Mobile Congress takes place in Barcelona. The congress is hosted in Fira de Barcelona which is situated very close to two of our Sixt carhire

  more than 49.000 people visited the WMC and this year more than 50.000 people are expected. Sixt is positively affected by that, as a lot of visitors combine their visit ofthe congress with a visit
